KVS NVS Tier 1 OMR & Biometric Rules (Must Read)
The KVS NVS Tier 1 exam is an offline exam, which means you will fill answers on an OMR sheet. Because of this, CBSE has made some strict biometric and exam rules that every candidate must follow.
Important Biometric & OMR Rules
- Digital Login Rule: While downloading your admit card, always log in using your Registration Number (it starts with 2598). Do not use your application number. If you do, the system may block your login.
- Thumb Impression & Face Scan: Biometric attendance is compulsory for everyone. If you have Mehendi (henna) or tattoos on your fingers, make sure your hands are clean. Otherwise, your fingerprint may not work.
- No Double Bubbling on OMR: Never fill two circles for one question on the OMR sheet. Do not use white fluid or correction pens. If you do, that question will be treated as wrong, and 1 mark will be deducted.
Shift-Wise Last-Minute Tips
For PRT and JSA candidates appearing on 10 January in the morning shift, it is important to focus on the high-weightage sections of the KVS Tier 1 exam. Special attention should be given to Language Competency and Basic Computer Knowledge, as these sections carry more marks and are scoring.
Candidates appearing for the MTS exam on 10 January in the afternoon shift should note that the paper level is secondary standard. However, they should avoid guessing answers because there is a negative marking of 1/3 mark.
For PGT and TGT candidates appearing on 11 January, it is advised to keep the CTET Certificate ready. In some cases, biometrics may be cross-verified with the DigiLocker CTET database, so carrying the certificate is important to avoid any last-minute issues.
Support & Helpdesk
The CBSE Board Office has provided dedicated helpline support for candidates under Notification No. 01/2025. If any candidate is facing issues related to login problems, admit card errors, or other exam-related concerns, they should contact the helpdesk without delay.
