TGCET Seat Reservation Rules
The Telangana government has set some simple rules for seat reservations in Gurukul schools. Seats are given based on different categories in each type of school.
- In Social Welfare schools (TGSWREIS), most seats (75%) are for SC students
- In Tribal Welfare schools (TGTWREIS), 64% seats are for ST students
- In BC Welfare schools (MJPTBCWREIS), 75% seats are for BC students
- In general Gurukul schools (TREI), seats are divided like this: SC (15%), ST (6%), BC (29%), and the rest for other students
What After TS Gurukul Result 2026?
If a student has passed, the next steps are:
- Document check: You will have to show your original documents like TC, study certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, and birth certificate (this one is compulsory).
- Choose your school: Soon, you can go online and select the schools you prefer on the official website.
- Seat allotment: Based on your rank, category, and available seats, the final school list will be released around April 2026.
Note: You cannot ask for rechecking or revaluation of your OMR sheet. The result declared on March 24, 2026 is final.
